Aman-i-Khas - Ranthambore

Aman-i-Khás
(combining aman, meaning peace, in Sanskrit, and
khás, meaning special in Urdu and Hindi)
is an exclusive wilderness retreat set in the rugged hills of
Rajasthan on the outskirts of Ranthambhore National Park. The
camp offers the ultimate levels of understated yet elegant luxury
for those looking for a genuine Indian wildlife experience.

There are just ten large sleeping tents each being a generous
108 square metres, in a colonial African style and offering
spacious and comfortable airy rooms separated by
white cotton drapes. The space given and attentive staff ensure
an unhurried leisurely experience. There is also a dining tent,
a lounge/library and small spa. After a day spent in the park,
the evenings are spent gathered around an outdoor campfire relaxing
and chatting about the days animal sightings and events
in an informal setting. The camp operates from October until
the end of April - the best period for wildlife spotting.
